Anonymise case documents, the same way every time
Judgments, bundles and witness statements often need parties and witnesses replaced before they are published or shared. Sanipage does it on your Mac with readable labels, so the document still makes sense.
Labels, not black bars
- People become Person A, Person B and so on, in the order you pick them
- Organisations become Organisation A, Organisation B
- Addresses, emails and phone numbers become [address], [email] and [phone]
- Any label can be changed, for example to the Claimant
The same person gets the same label in every document of the case.
You choose, Sanipage checks
Nothing is changed until you pick it on the file card. Before a file is ready, Sanipage reads it back and holds it if anything you picked can still be found. Word tracked changes, comments and author details are removed first, and in PDFs with text the label is drawn where the name was, with the name itself removed.
A record of what was done
Approved files go to their own Anonymised folder, with a log of each label and how often it was used. Anonymisation is for good: no real name is kept in the output.
Private by design
Everything happens on your Mac. No document, name or file name is ever sent to us.
How to start
Create a project in Sanipage and tick Court or tribunal anonymisation. Drop the case documents into its Input folder and pick who to anonymise on each file card.
